It is not every day that fans can claim they have been hosted overnight by a celebrity - let alone one of the stature of Korean pop superstar G-Dragon.

Popular accommodation listings site Airbnb is giving five lucky fans the chance to spend two nights at the legendary Dukyang studio in Seoul's Hongdae neighbourhood, where G-Dragon of BigBang kick-started his career and trained for years.

Better yet, the star will be there to welcome these fans at check-in, before giving them a personal tour of the space which he newly designed for this event. He will then have an intimate dinner with them at the cafeteria of his music label, YG Entertainment, before letting the fans sleep over at the studio, which he calls his "second home".

In a press statement, G-Dragon said: "I'm thrilled to become a host on Airbnb and I'm excited about welcoming my fans into my second home. I look forward to providing them with a unique local experience by sharing a glimpse into the early years of my career and bringing them around the neighbourhood I grew up in."

One fan each from China, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea and South-east Asia will be selected for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

To join the competition, fans are required to submit a write-up of no more than 300 words by Aug 29, describing how they would connect with someone from a different cultural background.
