Cooking doyenne and restaurateur Violet Oon's is offering a range of takeaway party trays from her eponymous restaurant.

Each tray is good for eight to 12 people.

There's everything from appetisers such as her famed tau hu goreng ($62) and kueh pie tee ($74), to main courses such as savoury chicken lemak ($88) and fork-tender beef rendang ($88).

Must-orders include her tasty dry mee siam ($78) and dry laksa ($88), as well as her shepherd's pie with creamy mashed potato ($92).

TANDOORI TURKEY FROM SHAHI MAHARANI

Shahi Maharani's Tandoori Turkey is moist and delicious. The 4.5kg bird is marinated with aromatic spices such as fenugreek and coriander, then grilled in a tandoor. Opt for the version stuffed with a minced meat biryani ($130+). It is served with house-made sauces including mint yogurt, makhni sauce, tomato chutney and a bell-pepper salsa.

SLOW-ROASTED IBERICO PORK BELLY FROM GOODWOOD PARK HOTEL

The crackling on this lush piece of pork belly is splendid - you get a nice crunch as you sink your teeth in. Under the crackling, a smooth layer of fat provides an extra dimension of texture and flavour and acts like a luxe lubricant as you chew. The meat, which is roasted for 3-1/2 hours with sherry vinegar, white wine and mirepoix of onions, carrots and celery, is flavourful, tender and wonderfully juicy.

It comes with pickled cabbage, house-made Granny Smith apple sauce and pork jus infused with smoked bacon.

The pork belly, which is limited to 30 pieces a day, is priced at $320 and is good for six to eight persons. The hotel's other takeaway items include turkeys, ham and logcakes.

Regent Singapore's Italian restaurant Basilico has an expansive range of takeaway items on offer this year. Dishes include a Winter Herbs-crusted Salmon Confit with Amalfi Lemon and Dill Sauce ($148); pasta items such as tortelloni stuffed with Green Asparagus in Gorgonzola Cheese Sauce and Hazelnuts ($98 for 2.5kg) and Wagyu Beef Lasagna with Mozzarella in San Marzano Tomato Sauce ($105 for 1.5kg); as well as a bone-in Roasted Leg of Lamb marinated in Barolo Red Wine with roasted baby vegetables ($198 for 2.5kg).
