A yakitori restaurant is not something that pops up every day in the HDB heartland, where you are more likely to encounter casual chain eateries and cafes. But then, Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park is not a typical heartland park.
Toriyard, located in a standalone building near the Aramsa spa, is just the right concept for the setting. It is interesting enough to attract the attention of foodies and casual enough for them to turn up in bermudas and T-shirts. And the prices are not prohibitive.
