DOOKKI

South Korean tteokbokki (rice cakes) buffet chain Dookki has opened its first outlet here. The brand, which has more than 100 restaurants worldwide, is known for its two-meal dining concept.

Diners start their meal with a pot of tteokbokki, which is a dish of Korean rice cakes. They then move on to their second meal of kimchi fried rice, which is made from cooking the rice in the pot and adding sauces and other side dishes into it.

Apart from the rice cakes, there is also a variety of fishcake, tempura, vegetables and ramen for diners to choose from. Cheese lovers can order the Double Cheese Ring, a cheese dip that is served in a ring around the pot, for an extra $9.80.

Buffet prices start at $18.80 for adults and $10.80 for children.
