Japanese Festival Of Stars At Lewin Terrace

Japanese-French fusion restaurant Lewin Terrace celebrates Tanabata, the Japanese festival of the stars, tonight with a five-course menu created for this festival by chef de cuisine Hiroyuki Shinkai. It features delicacies such as foie gras, Japanese seabass and Challans duck.

Middle Eastern Food Festival At One-Ninety, Four Seasons

Four Seasons Hotel Singapore has transformed its One-Ninety Restaurant this month as it hosts a Middle Eastern Food Festival. Syrian chef Adnan Al Masri, from Four Seasons Hotel Doha, creates a selection of home-style food, claypot dishes and speciality charcoal grills inspired by his native Damascus countryside. Diners enjoy a scrumptious mezze, cold dish and dessert buffet when they order an a la carte dish. Choose from more than 15 dips and cold dishes, including beetroot moutabel, labneh balls and harraq esbao, a stew made with lentils, dough and pomegranate. Pick from more than 20 main dishes - char-grilled meat, claypot dishes and home-styled mains, including chicken musakhan, sumac-scented chicken and onions and pomegranate molasses wrapped in wonton skin. Save space for desserts such as om ali (bread pudding) and balah el sham (fritters soaked in cardamom and cinnamon syrup).

Durian Afternoon Tea At Axis Bar & Lounge

Axis Bar & Lounge's durian-themed menu has a local twist, with items such as wolfberry-infused jasmine tea jelly with honey emulsion; and roulade of chicken, spiced ginger and chili caviar - reminiscent of local chicken rice. The king of fruit is infused into gourmet desserts and served on a three-tiered stand. Highlights include the durian macaron, D24 durian mousse, durian custard sable tart with taro foam and gula melaka durian opera, paired with Grand Jasmine TWG tea.

Bam! Goes Omakase Only

Modern shudo restaurant Bam!, helmed by executive chef Pepe Moncayo, has revamped into a full-fledged, omakase-only concept. Its former a la carte selection is now an omakase menu. A vegetarian option and a dessert omakase are also available. Bam! also offers a set lunch menu ($40++ for four courses; Tuesdays to Fridays) and a sake-tapas tastings happy hour ($48++ for five sakes and five tapas; Mondays, 6 to 8pm).

Truffle Month At Monti

Monti At 1-Pavilion's truffle dinner menu this month celebrates the peak of the winter truffle season in Australia and Monti's collaboration with Calia Truffles. Fine Dining Lovers Four Hands Experience At Jaan

The Fine Dining Lovers Four Hands experience will feature Jaan's chef de cuisine Kirk Westaway and visiting Italian chef Umberto Bombana, winner of this year's The Diners Club Lifetime Achievement Award for Asia and chef-owner of three-Michelin- starred Italian fine-dining restaurant, 8½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana in Hong Kong. The eight-course dinner menu features some of chef Westaway's signatures such as Heirloom Tomato. Chef Bombana brings his famed Homemade Pappardelle with lamb ragout, Kubota farm eggplant and mint. The six-course lunch menu offers a taste of the best of both chefs, with dishes such as Blue Lobster Matsutake, Confit Abalone Carpaccio and a Mayura Wagyu Rib.

The duck leg confit dish returns to Breton Restaurant Bar with the weekend special three-course set. New Menu At The Kitchen At Bacchanalia

The one-Michelin-starred Kitchen at Bacchanalia has launched its new a la carte menu, showcasing chef Luke Armstrong's latest creations. Starters include pineapple tomato served with quinoa salad, and duck foie gras. Main courses include wild turbot, dry-aged fillet of beef and roasted aged pigeon. End the meal with pistachio parfait, which features Sicilian pistachio grounded into a paste and served with caramelised white chocolate cremeaux and marinated wild berries; or go for Amedei chocolate from Tuscany paired with cherries from Mont Venasque.

The menu includes Rougie foie gras with fruit compote, fresh figs and black winter truffle (paired with Sherry Manzanilla), pan-seared pigeon with caramelised apricot, parsnip puree and black winter truffle (Sherry Pedro Ximenez), and housemade chocolate ice cream, orange sponge, chantilly cream, wild strawberry (Sherry East India Solera).

Amelia Park Wine Dinner
