They include spicy soft-shell crab pasta in a tangy and sweet Asian sauce, grilled half spring chicken, a rice dish in the form of honey baked chicken thigh, which is reminiscent of local chicken rice, and kaya French toast.

Specially for Chinese New Year, db Bistro & Oyster Bar's executive chef Jonathan Kinsella has brought back the roast stuffed suckling pig, which is served with wild mushrooms, chilli garlic kailan, turnip and spiced pork jus. The French restaurant also adds a local spin to its New Zealand ocean catch, with specials such as soft shell chilli crab ($65++), served with greens and house-made Brioche Mantou buns, and black pepper Boston lobster ($120++ whole lobster/$65++ half) served with chilli and spicy mustard greens.
