Italian Pasta Night at Basilico

Executive sous chef Angelo Ciccone invites diners to Basilico's first pasta night, featuring five courses of different pasta varieties prepared with Italian produce. Malay and Indian delicacies at Town Restaurant

Taking the spotlight are mother-son duo Letchmi and Daniel Surendran. She founded the popular Heavens hawker stall at Ghim Moh Market and Food Centre 15 years ago. The dinner buffet features Heavens' specialities handmade a la minute, such as steamed putu mayam rice flour noodles with sugar and freshly grated coconut and crispy-edged appam pancakes. Daniel's creations include Kambing Kicap Manis, lamb cooked with dark soya sauce and chilli padi; Udang Buah Keras, candlenut prawns; and Kari Itek, duck curry.
