OYSTER FRY

"I have always found fried oysters dry and chewy, but Chef Angus (Chow) fried these perfectly. The oysters remained huge and juicy. Topped with remoulade and tobiko, these were addictive."

COMMANDO'S FAVOURITE

"The different elements - sweet yet tangy lychee sorbet soft-serve with red date jelly, longans, little pink meringue gem biscuits, edible flowers and a cookie crumble - worked amazingly well together. It felt like I was drinking a cup of lychee lemonade, but in soft-serve form. The dish also evoked a sense of nostalgia with the use of traditional flavours and ingredients."

BARA CHIRASHI DON

"The seafood and sashimi cubes retained a hint of coldness and freshness, a welcome change from some chirashi dons I've had, where the sashimi was warm. The delicious and well-marinated salmon and tuna cubes came in rather large chunks, along with equally generous servings of salmon roe, octopus and prawn. At just $12.80, this is value for money."
