Nespresso has launched a new Creatista Plus machine, which allows users to create latte art with ease.

The machine features an automatic steam wand that froths milk to the correct consistency, without fuss.

Apart from lattes, the machine allows coffee fans to create other drinks at home, such as cappucinos and flat whites topped with different milk foam textures.

For those who want to practise their latte art, head to Nespresso's newly re-opened flagship boutique at Ion Orchard, where guests can try their hand at it before pre- ordering the Creatista Plus machines prior to in-store sales, which start on July 21.

Priced at $748, the machines will be available at Nespresso boutiques islandwide.

The Nespresso Ion Orchard boutique officially re-opened yesterday and guests can look forward to sweet treats from Tarte by Cheryl Koh to complement their coffee over the next two weekends - July 8 and 9, and July 15 and 16.

Guests at the revamped boutique will notice that there are no longer sales counters and queues there.

Nespresso fans who wish to win a Creatista Plus machine can visit the Nespresso booth at the Singapore Coffee Festival and take part in an Instagram contest.

All they have to do is create their own latte art with the new machine at the booth and post a photo of it on Instagram with the hashtags CreatistaBarista, NespressoSG and sgcoffeefest. The participant with the most artistic or inspiring post will win a machine.

The Singapore Coffee Festival will be held from Aug 3 to 6 at Marina Bay Cruise Centre, where more than 60 exhibitors, including cafes, coffee purveyors and equipment distributors, will take part in the festival.
