Looking to go somewhere for lunch? Razor TV multimedia journalists Low Yi Qian and Olivia Chang went to Rumah Makan Minang at Kandahar Street to try out the popular dishes offered by the nasi padang restaurant.

Located at 18 Kandahar Street, Rumah Makan Minang is tucked right at the heart of the Malay heritage district, next to the Sultan Mosque. It is also located along the Singapore Tourism Board's heritage trail, said its website.

According to the website, the restaurant started in 1954 and is a multi-generational restaurant specialising in the cuisine of the Minangkabau people of West Sumatra, Indonesia. Its recipes date as far back as the 1940s.

Its popular dishes include Indonesian tahu telur, beef rendang, paru belado, ayam gulai, ikan belado hijau, sotong masak hitam and gulai nangka. Check out what the journalists' verdict is after sampling these mouth-watering dishes.
