Cafe Mosaic’s Easter Weekend High Tea lays out an international spread, with the likes of seafood on ice such as oysters, tiger prawns and mussels; sashimi; meaty mains such as slow-roasted leg of lamb with rosemary jus, pork scaloppini, braised supreme soya chicken, and roast beef with shallots and onion sauce; a DIY rojak station; scones, tea sandwiches, siew mai and putu mayam; and Easter-themed desserts, including hot cross buns, bunny chocolate tartlets, chocolate eggs, pumpkin pudding with melted marshmallows, Easter carrot cake and a macarons tree. ALKAFF MANSION RISTORANTE
Shop, dine and hunt for Easter eggs at Alkaff Mansion. The Easter brunch features Italian dishes such as bresaola carpaccio with honey and ricotta cheese, and octopus salad with saffron potatoes and Sardinian gnocchetti sardi in Campidanese sauce; roast beef, lamb stew and oven-baked sea bass; antipasti and salad selections; and traditional Italian Easter Almond Dove Cake. Besides the food, the first Marketplace at Alkaff Mansion, a collaboration with Pickjunction, will feature independent merchants selling products ranging from handcrafted accessories to eyewear. Executive chef Andrew Tharm has created new dishes for Azur restaurant’s Easter brunch. They include Crowne Roasted Baby Australian Lamb with dukkah spices, served with vegetable succotash and mint chimichurri sauce; baked salmon en croute with cepes espuma; and savoury spinach and croissant pudding. Other highlights include choucroute en garnie, braised rice vermicelli with pork trotter, sauteed Thai asparagus with romaine hearts, a seafood bar and desserts such as banana clafoutis with vanilla sauce, pomegranate gelee with sour plum, hot cross buns and chocolate eggs.
