VICTORIA BECKHAM AND ESTEE LAUDER LAUNCH MAKE-UP

Fashion designer Victoria Beckham has teamed up with American beauty brand Estee Lauder to come up with a collection filled with beauty box must-haves.

With the collaboration, the savvy businesswoman has curated a limited-edition range of classic shades and wearable colours.

In a press release for the collection, Beckham says: "I have been collecting make-up for many years. I am always mixing colours to get what I want. With this collection, I believe I have created many of the key pieces that you really need in your make-up kit."

The collection includes trending beauty products, such as a highlighter ($104) to contour the face; and an orange-based matt red lipstick ($76).

Versatile pieces such as an eyeshadow palette ($116) with colours to take you from day to night and a double-ended eye pencil ($50), with both a sexy black and eye-opening nude shade, are also in the collection.

The Victoria Beckham Estee Lauder limited-edition make-up collection is sold at Tangs.com and Tangs at Tang Plaza, and will also be available at the Estee Lauder Boutique at Ion Orchard from Saturday.

MULTI-TASKING EYELINER FROM L'OREAL MAKEUP DESIGNER PARIS

Multi-use beauty products are not only more value for money, but they also help save space in your make-up kit.

L'Oreal Makeup Designer Paris has created a double-duty eyeliner which combines a felt-tip liquid liner with a kajal pencil liner - perfect for creating different eye looks.

The dual-ended eyeliner has an intense black formula which the label claims is 24-hour smudge- proof and waterproof.

The Superstar Duo Designer ($24.90) will be available at Watsons, Guardian and Sasa stores, major supermarkets and hypermarkets, and selected department stores from Saturday.

NEW BRANDS, BIGGER STORES AT THE SHOPPES AT MARINA BAY SANDS

In the first half of next year, high-end children's brands such as Gucci Kids, Stella McCartney Kids, Kenzo Kids and Paul Smith Kids will open standalone stores at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands.

French fashion house Chloe will also make its return to Singapore with its first standalone boutique at the mall in the first quarter of next year.

It will join other new-to-market brands here such as lingerie brand Agent Provocateur and Homme Plisse by Issey Miyake, a sporty menswear range inspired by the Japanese designer's signature pleats.

Homme Plisse by Issey Miyake is slated to open before the end of the year.

Some stores at the mall will also expand their retail space, such as French luxury brand Chanel, British shoe brand Jimmy Choo and Swiss watch brand Omega.

American jewellery brand Tiffany & Co. will double its space to a duplex store.
