MAC RELEASES COLLABORATION COLLECTION WITH MARIAH CAREY
American music legend Mariah Carey has teamed up again with cosmetics label MAC to release a collection bursting with bling.
The 46-year-old diva released a limited-edition lipstick with the label last year. This year, they will release a full range of make-up including five types of lipstick ($39), five types of lipgloss ($36), two power blushes ($44) and a liquid eyeliner ($40).
One of the highlights is an eyeshadow palette with four classic colours including a silver white shimmer and a deep plum with pearl tones - everything you need to get your peepers dazzling for the holiday season.
There is also a gold shimmer loose power ($60) for more sparkle.
The glitter is not just in the products, the packaging - in gold and silver - also reflects Carey's love for all things shiny.
The collection will be available from Dec 15 at the new MAC flagship store at B2-32 Ion Orchard, 2 Orchard Turn.
CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN'S SPRING/SUMMER 2017 COLLECTION
The Spring/Summer 2017 collection of French shoe designer Christian Louboutin, known for his signature red soles, is an explosion of colours and patterns inspired by the flora and fauna of Brazil.
Details such as hand-painted animal prints, cut-out floral motifs and mini baubles adorn the range of candy-coloured leather shoes and accessories.
For men, there are colourful patchwork high-top sneakers and multi-coloured lace-up brogues dotted with mini baubles.
Women can pick from a wide array of styles such as pointy-toe high heels, chunky heeled boots and lace-up heeled sandals.
Prices for shoes range from $800 to $5,300, while accessories start from $410 for small leather goods to $5,490 for a woman's bag.

STARS WARS FASHION COLLABORATIONS
With the much-awaited Rogue One: A Star Wars Story out in cinemas on Dec 15, fashion collaborations with the film are out in full force.
Italian sneaker brand Superga has designed a limited-edition range of four sneakers - priced at $129.90 each - inspired by characters such as R2-D2 and C-3PO. The sneakers are available at Superga stores including B2-04 Wheelock Place, 501 Orchard Road; 02-73 VivoCity, 1 Harbourfront Walk and online at superga.com.sg.
Japanese retailer Uniqlo has a range of graphic T-shirts and sweatshirts for boys and men that are priced between $14.90 and $29.90. Home-grown womenswear designer Sabrina Goh has also created a Star Wars-inspired collection in collaboration with Disney. The limited-edition Equilibrium collection for women features 10 styles such as cape and cowl-neck drape dresses with galaxy prints.
