LACOSTE POP-UP STORE

French label Lacoste has set up a pop-up store selling its classic polo shirt and other products, such as shoes, watches, fragrances and leather goods.

The pop-up, which is located in front of the Lacoste store at Vivocity, will run till April 2 and also provide embroidery services. Customers who purchase a polo shirt can opt to have it embroidered with their initials for free.

There will be new embroidery motifs to choose from, including one of a tennis player.

NEW CASIO BABY-G WATCH

There is a new addition to Casio's Baby-G line of women's shock-resistant watches.

Designed for runners, the Baby-G BGA-240 ($159) features large digital and analog displays for easy reading.

The watch also comes with a stopwatch feature that can be used to measure lap timings, an alarm and a countdown timer.

It is available in white, pink and black (the black comes in two versions, each with a different accent colour).

The Baby-G BGA-240 series is available at all G-factory outlets.

INDIAN DESIGNER WENDELL RODRICKS TO SHOW COLLECTION IN SINGAPORE

Indian designer Wendell Rodricks will be in town on Saturday to present a new collection tailored for the Singapore audience.

The collection will be shown at an exhibition and features a range of cotton-based sarees and a separate menswear range.

Rodricks, who is known for his minimalistic designs, will also give a talk about the inspiration behind his creations.

The exhibition will be held at Yavuz Gallery, 02-23, 9 Lock Road, open: 11am to 5pm. Admission is free.


MONUMENT LIFESTYLE CONCEPT STORE AND CAFE

A new cafe-cum-lifestyle store, Monument Lifestyle, has opened in Duxton Road.

It sells items such as menswear, men's grooming tools, small gift items and even surfboards. It carries brands such as sock brand Happy Socks, menswear label Faherty, handmade candle company P.F Candle Co and Australian surfboard brand Deus ex Machina.

The cafe serves light snacks such as sandwiches, toast, pastries and yogurt.

Monument Lifestyle is located at 75 Duxton Road, open: 8am to 7pm (Mondays to Fridays).
