DIY FAN WORKSHOP

As part of the Singapore Design Week, home-grown womenswear label Ginlee Studio will be hosting DIY hand-fan workshops next month.

Participants will learn different fan construction methods and design fans using unique prints, embroidered designs and textile finishes from Ginlee Studio's Spring/ Summer 2017 collection.

The workshop will be led by industrial designer Tamir Niv, who is also the label's co-founder. There is a fee of $10. Each workshop is three hours long. One workshop will be held daily from March 10 to 12 at Ginlee Studio.

CHANEL'S NEW LIP GLOSS RANGE

French label Chanel has launched a new range of lip gloss called the Rouge Coco Gloss. Developed in collaboration with Lucia Pica, the brand's global creative make-up and colour designer, it boasts a non-sticky formula with a gel-like finish.

There are 24 shades, from dark red and purple colours to nudes. There are also three top coats available for users to layer over their lipsticks and they come in varying shades of transparency - from sparkling transparent to clear black.

Each lip gloss retails at $48 and will be available from tomorrow at Chanel Fragrance and Beauty boutiques in Ion Orchard, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, VivoCity, Raffles City and Jem. From March 3, they will be sold at all Chanel Fragrance and Beauty counters.


LUXASIA'S POP-UP EVENT

Singapore beauty products distributor Luxasia will hold a pop-up event, #byob, from March 1 to May 31. Visitors can customise their own beauty boxes by filling a box with travel-size bottles of different fragrances, skincare and make-up products from brands such as Anna Sui Cosmetics, Lanvin Parfums and beauty tool label Tweezerman.

The beauty boxes come in two sizes. For the mini box ($25), there is a choice of 11 items, including two premium ones. For the larger box ($45), customers can pick up to 15 items.

There will also be beauty services at the event, such as makeovers and facials. Other services that require prior reservations include brow trimming, express manicures, facial massages and hairstyling. Each service costs $18.
