ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS COLLABORATIONS
Urban Decay to release limited-edition palette
Inspired by the Disney fantasy-adventure film Alice Through The Looking Glass, American label Urban Decay has created a limited- edition eyeshadow palette. It consists of 20 new shades named after characters from the film and includes a double-ended brush.
The highly pigmented and easy- to-blend colours include neutral shades such as Looking Glass, a semi-matte pale pink, and bolder colours such as Heads Will Roll, a vibrant, sparkling turquoise.
The Alice Through The Looking Glass eyeshadow palette ($88) will be available from next Wednesday, the same day the film will be released here. It will be available at Sephora stores, Urban Decay free-standing stores and online at sephora.sg.
Carrie K.'s jewellery capsule collections
Also to coincide with the Alice Through The Looking Glass film, Walt Disney Company South-east Asia has collaborated with Singapore jewellery brand Carrie K. on two capsule collections.
Titled Keyhole and Time, they are inspired by the movie's theme of perspective and the character Time, played by British actor Sacha Baron Cohen. There are more than 10 designs, such as Time Pendulum Earrings and Time Pocket Watch Necklace, and three finishes - silver, gold and rose gold.
Ms Carolyn Kan, founder and designer of Carrie K., says: "We think that life is too serious, so we try to sprinkle a little magic into people's lives through the playful stories in our jewellery."
All the pieces are made in sterling silver and plated with 14K gold. Some designs feature semi- precious gems such as garnet and topaz. Solid gold options can be made on request.
Prices range from $258 for the Keyhole ring in sterling silver to $1,188 for a Time Pocket Watch Necklace in 14K gold-plated silver.
The collections will be sold at the Carrie K. Atelier at the National Design Centre, Takashimaya Department Store and online at www.carriekrocks.com from tomorrow. The collection will retail at Tangs from August.

ESTEE LAUDER EXPANDS NUTRITIOUS VITALITY RANGE
Estee Lauder has expanded its line of skincare products that is inspired by traditional Chinese medicine and created exclusively for Asian skin. Infused with antioxidants, the Nutritious Vitality collection includes ingredients such as pomegranate extract, super berry ferment and vitamins C and E, which the label claims will help keep skin nourished, radiant and supple.
The line consists of eight products including a Radiant Energy Mist ($40) for keeping skin hydrated throughout the day and a Glossy Lip Balm ($40), a non-sticky formula with a fruity scent that keeps lips conditioned.
The Nutritious Vitality 8 range also includes the Radiant Energy Lotion ($76) in two new formulations. The Intense Moist formula is a richer lotion for dehydrated skin, while the Fresh Moist formula is a lighter version for normal skin.
