LA PERLA OPENS SECOND STORE

Italian luxury lifestyle brand La Perla has opened its second boutique here, at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

Shoppers there will find the Spring/Summer 2017 ready-to- wear collection, which features womenswear products such as lingerie and eveningwear.

The Fall/Winter 2017 collection will be available at both La Perla outlets - the other one is at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands - from end-August.

Prices range from $90 for an eye mask to $129,375 for a dress that was worn by American supermodel Kendall Jenner for La Perla's Fall/ Winter 2017 runway show.

KLARRA POP-UP STORE AT CAPITOL PIAZZA

Home-grown online womenswear label Klarra has set up its first pop-up boutique at Capitol Piazza.

It has partnered Singapore tea company Ette Tea and Just Julia bakery to offer an in-store pampering service, where walk-in customers will be offered complimentary freshly baked goods and tea as they shop.

The pop-up boutique will run until Aug 24. For three months, Klarra will release new items twice a month.

It will also offer workshops on styling at the pop-up.

FRANKSKINCARE LAUNCHES FLAGSHIP STORE

Singapore organic beauty label FrankSkincare has launched its flagship store, Ode to Organics - also its first brick-and-mortar store - at Downtown Gallery.

The store carries only organic products, including offerings from American beauty label Josh Rosebrook and home-grown healthcare brand MyMaha.

Prices range from $22 for a set of organic bamboo washcloths to $128 for a set of skincare products.

The store's interior features display tables made of upcycled pallet wood by Singapore design studio Triple Eyelid. Plant displays and a moss feature wall by terrarium design company Mossingarden give the space a botanical feel.

Ode to Organics is at 01-46 Downtown Gallery, 6 Shenton Way; open: 11am to 8pm on weekdays, 11am to 6pm on weekends.
