LIMITED-EDITION NEW BALANCE SNEAKERS
Singapore shoe store P.V.S has collaborated with American athletic footwear brand New Balance on an exclusive sneaker design for women modelled after the brand's popular 996 silhouette.
The galactic-inspired shoe, called the 9alactic 9irls' 6rigade, features pastel hues and teal accents on a black shoe base.
Only 300 of the 1,008 pairs produced will be housed in a reflective shoe box designed by P.V.S and Streething, a popular South-east Asian online street fashion news portal founded in 2005 that has worked with other shoe brands such as Adidas and Nike.
This marks New Balance's first shoe collaboration with a women's shoe store, as well as P.V.S' first collaboration with a sneaker company. The store previously worked with American shoe brand Jeffrey Campbell on a few exclusive colourways for its shoes.
The limited-edition shoe is priced at $189 and will go on sale here on Saturday and at select shoe boutiques worldwide. Only 100 pairs, all of which will be packaged in the reflective shoe box, will be available in Singapore at the P.V.S store.
The P.V.S store is located at 02-05 Cathay Cineleisure Orchard, 8 Grange Road, tel: 6292-3226.
SHISEIDO LAUNCHES NEW LIQUID FOUNDATION
Japanese cosmetic company Shiseido is set to release a liquid foundation with a new formula which it claims will enhance the skin's complexion and allow the foundation to synchronise with the user's skin tone.
The Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation ($74), available in 16 shades, contains a transparent correcting polymer which the brand claims allows natural skin tones to show through while correcting unevenness such as large pores and roughness. This will create a more natural look.
The new formula contains skincare ingredients which the brand claims will help maintain skin health.
These include hypericum extract, which smoothens skin, and hydro-sensing polymer and glyceline, which help the skin retain moisture.
The Synchro Skin Lasting Liquid Foundation will be available at all Shiseido counters from March 1.
