BEAUTY POP-UP

Laneige has set up a pop-up store at Ion Orchard B4 to promote its best-selling BB Cushion. Till Sunday, shoppers get up to 50 per cent off selected skincare and BB Cushion sets.

At 2 and 6pm on Saturday, South Korean model Hwang Se On will make a guest appearance to share her beauty tips. Make-up artists from South Korea will also be giving make-up demonstrations during the two 60-minute sessions. Go to Laneige Singapore's Facebook page for details.


TANGS SG50 POP-UP STORE

Fancy streetwear with a chinoiserie twist (left), or a biker jacket that has elements of a kebaya top?

They are part of the Tangs x Lasalle collection, which celebrates everything that is uniquely Singapore.

The collection of 150 pieces was designed by students from Lasalle College of the Arts, under the supervision of the department store, leather goods brand Tocco Tenero and jewellery designer Carolyn Kan.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the loveLasalle Education Fund, a financial assistance scheme that provides scholarships and bursaries to students in need.

Prices range from $110 for a pair of shorts to $432 for a tunic. The collection will be launched at the Tangs SG50 pop-up store, which is on from next Friday till Sept 13 at Tangs Orchard.
