BEIJING • Actress Zhang Ziyi on Sunday debuted her baby in front of guests at a celebration marking the 100th day of the child's birth.

Back in Beijing after giving birth in December in the United States, Zhang, 37, posed for pictures on stage with her husband, rocker Wang Feng, and their daughter.

They carried the girl, who has small eyes like her dad and whose baby name is Xingxing, which means "awaken" in English.

Wang's daughter from a previous relationship, 10-year-old Manxi, played the piano.

After Zhang called her up on stage, Manxi turned emotional, bursting into tears, reported Ming Pao Daily News. Zhang consoled her and the girl said: "Thanks, papa and mama!"

The evening's theme, Awakened By Love, conveyed that Xingxing was born out of love and brings greater love to her family, said Ming Pao.

Wang, 44, spared no expense, filling the room in a Beijing hotel with pink and white flowers and decorations of little lambs as Xingxing was born in the Year of the Sheep.

Zhang was back to her former svelte shape, posing in a red jumpsuit.

About 300 guests attended the event, including film director Feng Xiaogang, singer Na Ying, actresses Ruby Lin and Huang Yi and film company bosses Wang Zhonglei, Wang Zhongjun and Yu Dong.

Zhang posted pictures of the celebration on Weibo, writing: "Xingxing, having you is what I'm proudest of. Thanks for picking me as your mum. Love is the most important."
