English actor Isaac Hempstead Wright enjoyed an early birthday celebration at his fan meet last Saturday.
Fans gave him a warm welcome at Ion Orchard's Basement 4 Atrium and sang Happy Birthday to the Game Of Thrones actor, who will turn 17 on April 9.
It was Wright's first time in Singapore and upon saying that he had a long list of local food he wanted to try, the crowd responded by yelling the names of food such as laksa, satay and durian.
To please the eager crowd, he went around to take wefies.
He met 40 lucky fans who had an opportunity to take photos with him and get his autograph.
The fan meet was part of HBO Asia's The Game Of Thrones Experience: World Of Westeros event to promote Season 6 of the hit television series.
Season 6 of the fantasy drama premieres on HBO (StarHub TV Channel 601) on April 25 at 9am, the same time as the United States.
Talking about the new season without revealing spoilers, Wright, who acts as Bran Stark in the series, said: "Bran is still mastering his 'warg-ing' talent. He's not quite there yet, but he's getting to grips with his magical powers."
In the show, wargs are people who can enter the minds of animals and control their actions.
Wright plays Bran Stark, who is crippled and the fourth child of Lady Catelyn and Lord Eddard Stark. His character was not in Season 5, but he returns in the upcoming season.
Consultant Angela Lee, who declined to give her age, was dressed as the show's Daenerys Targaryen. In line with the queen's character, she brought a dragon figurine that Wright autographed.
Of the Bran Stark character, she said: "I like his warg-ing ability and am predicting he will warg into a dragon."
The free interactive event at Ion Orchard is on until Thursday. It features a life-sized replica of the iconic Iron Throne, as well as original storyboards and a showcase of weapons from the show.
Another highlight is the 90- second Game Of Thrones: Ascend The Wall virtual reality experience that takes users to the top of the 700-foot ice wall in Westeros.
Visitors can step into a physical recreation of the Castle Black winch elevator and don a virtual reality headset and a pair of headphones. They will then find themselves in a virtual version of the same elevator.
An excited Faith Sim, 24, was first in line to meet Wright.
Ms Sim, who works in the theatre industry, said: "I didn't expect to be the first one on stage. You think about all these things to say beforehand and it all disappears. He invited me to sit on the Iron Throne and there were two seconds of silence. But I got my hug, selfie and autographed poster, so it's all good."
Civil servant Marc Lee, 30, said: "The other actors are not here so meeting Wright is the next best thing. I've watched him since he was a kid and he's all grown up now. He's pretty cool, down-to-earth and warm."
On meeting Wright, marketing manager Balachander L., 36, who has watched every season and read all the books, said: "We exchanged hellos and I said it was an honour to meet him. I was quite tongue-tied.
"In the show, Bran Stark had undergone tragedy at a young age and matured over the years. It'll be cool to see what the new season has in store."
