As it embarks on its 10th season, The Walking Dead (2010 to now) is looking a lot like the zombie virus in its apocalypse saga: virtually unstoppable.

Despite dips in its American viewing numbers and some scathing reviews over the years, the show still commands a huge global fan base and has spun off another hit series, Fear The Walking Dead (2015 to now), with a second television spin-off in the works along with three films starring Andrew Lincoln, who left the show last year.
