Tickets to the highly anticipated movie Rogue One: A Star Wars Story go on sale on Monday (Nov 28) at 10am.

Only Citibank cardholders can buy tickets for the special Imax 3D preview session on Dec 14 at 7pm. That session gives fans a slight headstart before the film officially opens on Dec 15.

Tickets for all other screenings of the movie go on sale on Nov 29 from 12.01am at cinema websites.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is the first in a planned anthology of Star Wars stand-alone films. It follows a group of unlikely heroes banding together to steal the plans to the Death Star, which is the evil Empire's ultimate weapon of mass destruction.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, the film stars Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Ben Mendelsohn, Donnie Yen and Mads Mikkelsen, among others.
