(UNITED STATES) Judge Ann Nevins has ordered rapper 50 Cent to appear in bankruptcy court in Hartford on Wednesday to explain the Instagram photos showing him with stacks of cash.
The United States (US) trustee's office is asking Nevins to appoint an examiner to review the rapper's assets.
50 Cent said in a court filing on Tuesday that the bills were props and he is not hiding assets.
The rapper filed for bankruptcy last year after a New York City jury ordered him to pay US$7 million (S$9.68 million) to a woman who said he posted her sex tape online.
