Wildlife photographer Joel Sartore urges Singaporeans to support zoo during pandemic

LOS ANGELES - Popular photographer Joel Sartore is on a 25-year quest to photograph every species in captivity. Chatting with The Straits Times for Earth Day, he explains why he takes studio-style portraits of even the most humble creatures, and urges Singaporeans to support their world-class zoo during the pandemic.

See the 57-year-old at work in Photo Ark: Rarest Creatures, which airs at 8pm on April 22 on National Geographic (Singtel TV Channel 201, StarHub TV Channel 411). There will be repeat telecasts at 12.30pm on April 25 and at 3.15pm on April 29.
