It will be a fairy-tale-like gathering of stars when Oscar winner Charlize Theron and Hollywood A-listers Jessica Chastain and Chris Hemsworth make their way to Singapore in April.

The leads of The Huntsman: Winter's War will be in town on April 3 to walk the red carpet and meet fans at Universal Studios Singapore to promote their new movie. The film will premiere at the theme park's Pantages Hollywood Theatre, which will be decorated to look like an ice palace reminiscent of the castle featured in it.

Directed by Cedric Nicolas- Troyan, the fantasy-action movie is a follow-up to Snow White And The Huntsman (2012), based on the characters from the classic fairy tale Snow White.

In the new movie, Theron reprises her role as evil Queen Ravenna, who betrays her good sister Freya (Emily Blunt). Hemsworth, best known for playing Thor in the Marvel movie universe, plays Eric The Huntsman, while Chastain plays Eric's lover Sara.

The Huntsman: Winter's War opens in cinemas here on April 14.
