SINGAPORE - Britney Spears' concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 30 will get a runway after all.

The American pop star's fans here had expressed concern that the initial stage layout released last month (May) did not include an extended runway, which would have given more of them a chance to get up close with the singer. Many also complained that the ticket prices, ranging from $188 to $568, were too high.

Concert promoter IME Productions have added a new standing zone ($428) as well as two additional seating categories ($388 and $488). According to a press release, the amendments were made in response to the fans' feedback.

The new ticket categories will go on sale via sportshubtix.com.sg on June 16 at 10am.

The updates were implemented after the management team returned from the other shows in the singer's Asian tour this past week and through "consensus with her management as well as coordination with the show venue and local ticketing agent".

IME also said that Spears will go through five costume changes and be accompanied by 14 dancers.

One of the best-selling artists of all time, Spears is known for massive pop hits such as ...Baby One More Time (1998), Oops!... I Did It Again (2000) and Womanizer (2008).

She released her ninth and most recent album, Glory, last year. The album made it to the top three on the American and British charts while music magazine Rolling Stone ranked it the fifth best pop album of 2016.
