Netflix launches world's first 4K hand-drawn animation

Those with a Netflix premium subscription will be able to watch the pioneering anime short film Sol Levante in 4K resolution, high dynamic range (HDR) when it debuts today on the streaming service.

The film is the world's first piece of hand-drawn animation made with the high-resolution 4K format in mind, according to Netflix.
