SINGAPORE - Netflix's upcoming monster movie Okja is filled with major Hollywood stars such as Tilda Swinton and Jake Gyllenhaal, but South Korean child actress An Seo Hyun is stealing the attention as the film's feisty lead.

In the movie directed by Bong Joon Ho (The Host, 2006), the pint-sized 13-year-old plays Mija, a farm girl who will go to lengths to protect her best friend - which happens to be a massive pig named Okja.

The movie, which had screened in competition for the Palme d'Or at Cannes last month, will be available on Netflix worldwide on June 28.
