But the comedy-drama about Earn Marks (Glover) - a young man trying to make a living managing the nascent rap career of his cousin Alfred (Brian Tyree Henry) - also unites Glover's twin passions of music and film-making, with a bleeding-edge hip-hop soundtrack showcasing the subgenre known as trap, which originated in Atlanta, Georgia.
