K-pop singer Lee Seung Hoon, 22, shocked fans and fellow singers when he fell off the stage at the curtain call of Sunday night's multi-act YG Family Concert held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Lee, who is a member of rookie boyband Winner, was sent to the hospital immediately after the concert. He did not sustain any serious injuries and has since been discharged, said the organisers One Production and Live Nation Korea.
"We would like to assure all fans that Seung Hoon is fine and well," said the official statement. Organisers told The Straits Times that Winner flew back to South Korea on Monday morning.
In fan-taken videos circulated on social media, Lee was seen walking backwards while filming label mate Epik High's DJ Tukutz with a smartphone. Lee unknowingly backed to the edge of the stage and fell off. His fellow performers were visibly shocked by Lee's sudden fall in the videos.
The boyish Lee was a trouper and later joined his fellow YG artistes onstage for the rest of the encore segment, according to fan accounts.
Winner were performing at the concert featuring artists from Korean entertainment giant and talent agency YG Entertainment. The five boys from Winner earned their debut last month after beating fellow YG trainees Team B on the YG Entertainment survival talent reality TV show WIN: Who Is Next.
