Magic Power frontman Gaga fired from band for lifting female singer's shirt

TAIPEI - Magic Power frontman Gaga has been fired from the Taiwanese band following a report that he kissed Popu Lady singer Bao Wu and lifted her top in the street.

In June last year, B'in Music banned him from working for six months, after he took a video of himself filming up the skirt of model Amber An.

On Wednesday, the record label said it had "reluctantly made a decision" to withdraw the vocalist from the band, after one last contracted show on Jan 31, reported United Daily News.

"Gaga has been given more than one chance," B'in Music said. "We can't let him make the same mistake again. We don't encourage and don't approve of such a poor example."

Gaga, 31, had returned to work last month and said he would "concentrate on work", not women. On Dec 23, he was filmed by Next Magazine as he cuddled and kissed Wu. The two seemed to have an argument, and he kneeled in front of her, said United Daily News. He also seemed to lift her top in a dark alley.

Both his and her labels said the two were not a couple. However, Wu defended Gaga against the reports, said United Daily News.

She said he was drunk then and lifting his hand when it grazed her top, and the video looked bad probably because of the angle at which it was taken.

Explaining the public display of affection, she said they were attracted to each other then and had potential for a relationship. "Now that we've been photographed and exposed, it's uncertain whether there will be an opportunity for development."
