Louis Tomlinson from British band One Direction has named his son Freddie Reign, he and Briana Jungwirth tweeted on Thursday (Jan 28).

Tomlinson, 24, posted a photo of his son lying on his chest with the caption: "Meet my little lad, Freddie."

While mum Briana shared a photo of her son sleeping by her side.

She wrote: "1/21/16. Freddie Reign. Love of my life"

Tomlinson is the first member of four-piece pop phenomenon One Direction to become a father.
