Beijing - South Korean actress Chae Rim followed Chinese customs in her wedding to Chinese actor Gao Ziqi today in his hometown of Taiyuan in China's Shanxi province.

She wore a red, embroidered qipao and offered tea to her elders.

Pictures on website NetEase also show her in a white bridal gown at their Western-style wedding held at a hotel in front of family and friends.

They reportedly plan to hold a wedding in Korea next week.

The pair, who revealed their romance last March, met while working on a 2013 Chinese TV series, in which they played a married couple.

Gao, 33, is known for his role as Xiao Jian in the 2011 television series New My Fair Princess.

The 35-year-old bride starred in 2000's All About Eve and was previously married for three years to Korean singer Lee Seung Hwan.
