SINGAPORE - Kiss92 retains top spot as the No. 1 English-language radio station in Singapore, based on share of listeners, according to the Nielsen radio mid-year survey released on Thursday (July 2).

The three-year-old station also leads the pack with the highest growth in cumulative listenship among the English-language radio stations in Singapore. This growth is an increase of 3 per cent in the number of listeners for the Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) radio station, from the last survey conducted in September 2014.

The audience number now stands at 645,000.

Mr Jamie Meldrum, senior programme director for Kiss92 and ONE FM 91.3, said: "It is amazing to see the continuous growth of Kiss92. We're a very young station and we're very thankful for the support we've had from our fans over the past three years. It truly motivates us to do better and more for our fans."

Listenership for ONE FM 91.3, another English station managed by SPH, debuted with a cumulative listenership of 243,000.

ONE FM 91.3, which was rebranded early this year, will unveil the revamped programme Breakfast Show on July 6 at 8am.
