Reality TV star Kim Kardashian threw her husband Kanye West an epic basketball-themed birthday bash on Monday - with real referees and Laker girls to boot.
Kardashian, 34, rented the Staples Center in Los Angeles so West and his friends could play an NBA-style game together on his 38th birthday, reported E! News.
A source told the celebrity news channel that Houston Rockets player James Harden and rapper 2 Chainz acted as the coaches for the birthday game, while RnB crooner John Legend sang the national anthem.
The cost to rent the Staples Center cost an estimated US$110,000 (S$149,000), the source told E! News.
The source added that other celebrities including singer Justin Bieber, rapper Tyga and hip-hop artist Pusha T were among the all-star party guest list.
Earlier on Monday, Kardashian wished her husband happy birthday on Instagram by posting a photo of the couple with the caption: "Happy Birthday to my best friend in the entire world! You are the most amazing husband & dad! You inspire me every single day! You make all of your dreams reality & it's fascinating to be by your side & watching it all happen! You have a heart of gold! Have the best birthday ever! #SWISH."
