SEOUL - South Korean singer Rain and actress Kim Tae Hee have welcomed their first child, a girl.
The new dad made the announcement on Instagram on Tuesday (Oct 24), said websites.
He posted a photo of booties, with a message written in the baby's voice: "Thank you. I am a pretty princess. I will grow into a child who helps the world."
Rain, 35, and Kim, 37, married in January, after dating for five years.
The K-pop idol and the actress had held a private wedding ceremony on Jan 19 at Gahoe-dong Cathedral in Seoul. They had announced their engagement only on Jan 17.
The wedding mass, which was attended only by family members and a few close friends, lasted about one and a half hours.
Preparations had been carried out in secret, with guests informed of the venue and time one day before. The location was guarded by private security guards, preventing reporters from getting a glimpse of the couple.
