American alternative rock elders Weezer will play their first show in Singapore on Aug 15, at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre.

The Grammy-winning quartet are best known for influential albums like their 1994 self-titled debut and 1996's Pinkerton. Their 10th album, also self-titled, is scheduled for release next month.

Tickets to their concert here cost $108 to $158 and will go on sale through Sistic from March 19.

The Weezer concert's organisers, LAMC Productions, have also announced a new date for popular British metal band Bring Me The Horizon - Sept 27 at Fort Gate, Fort Canning Park.

The quintet, who have been named Best British Band at British music awards show Kerrang! Awards, cancelled their Jan 28 show at *Scape Playspace due to changes in their touring dates.

Holders of tickets to the cancelled show can use them for the make-up show or get a refund.

Tickets to the newly scheduled show also cost $108, the same as the cancelled show. They are available through Sistic.
