PASSENGERS

Chris Pratt is all alone on a giant spaceship named Avalon with Jennifer Lawrence.

Matt Damon from The Martian (2015) must be grumbling right now: "All I had for company on very lonely Mars were potatoes."

Pratt and Lawrence are passengers in prolonged hibernation on a 120-year voyage through space to populate a distant planet and, apparently, they wake up 90 years too early.

Of course, there are sinister reasons why their long bedtime was interrupted prematurely - the journey goes awry, danger strikes, et cetera.

But Lawrence utters this soon-to-beimmortal line: "We have to go back to sleep."

I love a trailer that sort of undersells itself.

BIRTH OF THE DRAGON

According to the makers of this movie, a pre-global-superstar-fame Bruce Lee (played by Philip Ng, a Hong Kong-born American actor) had a showdown with a Shaolin monk named Wong Jack Man (Chinese actor Xia Yu). Lee is brash, Wong is wise, and they battle like Power Rangers having a spat, as dreamt up by Keanu Reeves.

This clip, directed by George Nolfi (The Adjustment Bureau, 2011), is Rocky for Asian people and it looks like Sylvester Stallone did the styling here too.
