FORSAKEN

It's a real pop-and-son combo as Kiefer Sutherland, playing an ex-gunslinger trying to put his violent past behind him, returns home to his dad, who's his actual Daddy-O, Donald Sutherland.

Kiefer still has that look from his acclaimed television series 24, which teeters somewhere between "hero" and "nasty latent killer". It makes Demi Moore curious and kaypoh here as the married woman in vintage drab whom Kiefer still has the hots for.

But this clip has no time for 50 Shades Of Hay hanky-panky since a real mean gang of bullies kicks people around and you can see Sutherland Jr going Clint Eastwood on them like it's trash-clearing day.

TERM LIFE

After a botched robbery he is involved in, Vince Vaughn needs to protect his kid from vicious mobsters, hit men and crooked cops led by Bill Paxton, who are going after him and his little gal.

Maybe it's because no one takes Vaughn seriously, but I don't know whether this is the trailer for a crime thriller or a comedy. It doesn't help that Vaughn here wears a ridiculous mop-top hairstyle.

Playing his character's teenage daughter is True Grit's (2010) Hailee Steinfeld, whose role here is to put the 90210 into this 999 flick. She tells daddy: "Caffeine's not good for you."

Daddy begs to differ: "Guys trying to kill you isn't good for you; caffeine is fine."
