High School Musical 4 is officially in the making, with a brand new East High cast.

Producers are searching for five new leads, including a football player, a bad boy dancer, and a jock/theatre nerd who also happens to be a cousin of the original movie's Sharpay and Ryan. Other roles include a cheerleader and a fallen queen bee.

While it is yet to be announced if Ashley Tisdale and Lucas Grabeel will be reprising their roles as Sharpay and Ryan, fans are grateful for the news of this fourth installment to the popular franchise.

"High School Musical is part of Disney Channel's DNA," said Disney Channel President Gary Marsh. "It embodies all that we stand for."
