SPH Gift Of Music - SCO Community Series: Tunes Of Exuberance @ Tampines

The Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) partners Pathlight School Percussion and Wind Ensemble for this concert, conducted by resident conductor Quek Ling Kiong. SCO will also collaborate with Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (Minds) to perform a renowned piece, Matsuri. Composed by Japanese composer Kitaro and arranged by Sim Boon Yew for Chinese orchestra, the piece starts off with the majestic drumming by beneficiaries of Minds.

Gorillaz Sound System Debut In Singapore

Four-man British outfit Gorillaz Sound System make their Singapore debut at Zouk. It incorporates all the hugely successful Gorillaz hits, such as Feel Good Inc and Clint Eastwood, along with larger-than-life projections of their award-winning animation. But, bear in mind that Damon Albarn and his fellow musicians who played on the Gorillaz albums are not part of the show.

Project Symphony Grand Concert
