Sultan Mahmood Mangkat Di-Julang - Asian Premiere

The Cathay Keris classic, Sultan Mahmood Mangkat di-Julang (The Passing Of The Sultan, 1961), has been restored by the Asian Film Archive. Based on a 17th-century folklore, the narrative is speckled with romance, murder and political conspiracies, and explores the notion of loyalty within a feudalistic society.
