Mega concert Sing50 kicks off the Golden Jubilee weekend today with what promises to be a spectacular show celebrating Singapore's best-loved tunes. More than 250 performers, including home-grown stars such as Stefanie Sun, Ramli Sarip, Mohamed Raffee and Jeremy Monteiro will share the stage with a 1,000-strong community choir, 50 pianists, as well as international stars such as pianist Lang Lang.

New Zealand singer-songwriter Kimbra's collaboration in 2013 with Gotye on Somebody That I Used To Know won them the Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance at the Grammys. Home-grown troubadour Charlie Lim will open the show. Kimbra played at Laneway in 2013.
