NEON LIGHTS

This new music and arts festival has an impressive line-up, with something for most contemporary music fans.

There are crowd pleasers, such as American disco group Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, whose repertoire will rev up disco fans and the dance music crowd. There is also cutting-edge music from the likes of American singer-songwriter Julia Holter, soaring instrumentals from Scottish post-rock giants Mogwai, as well as home-grown acts such as Hanging Up The Moon and Paint The Sky Red.

THE BLACK AXIS SESSIONS

Norwegian band MoE are known for their immersive and experimental brand of noise-rock. In 2013, the trio - bassist/vocalist Guro Skumsnes, drummer Joakim Heibo Johansen and guitarist Havard Skaset - had a split single release with home-grown art-rock band The Observatory. The two acts are back together for this joint gig.

LENKA LIVE IN SINGAPORE

Australian singer-songwriter Lenka is back for her fourth show in Singapore and fans will get to hear brand new material from her recently released fourth album, The Bright Side.

Her concert will be preceded by critically acclaimed home-grown singer-songwriter Charlie Lim.

ELTON JOHN - ALL THE HITS TOUR

The title of the tour pretty much sums up what fans of one of the biggest and longest-lasting pop acts from the past five decades can expect.

Over two nights, the British music legend can be expected to play his most famous songs, including Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me, Rocket Man and Bennie And The Jets.

TOE - LIVE IN SINGAPORE

Japanese experimental post-rock outfit Toe created a stir with their visceral, sold-out shows at the Mosaic Music Festival in 2012.

The quartet - comprising drummer Kashikura Takashi, guitarists Mino Takaaki and Yamazaki Hirokazu and bassist Yamane Satoshi - are back for two nights at Zouk. Monday's show, which will feature home-grown band Sphaeras as the opening act, is sold out, but tickets are still available for their show on Sunday with Singapore band Anechois.
