"LIVE" AT QUEENSTOWN

Singapore's 1960s pop stalwart Vernon Cornelius is set to regale fans with songs by his old band The Quests, one of the country's most successful bands from that decade. The two nights of free concerts in the Queenstown heartland will be a homecoming gig of sorts. The Quests were named after the magazine of what was then known as Queenstown Secondary Technical School, where two of the band's founding members studied.

24/2: HRVST, MARIJANNAH, PLAGUE BEARER, RADIANT ARCHERY

Metal band Marijannah, who recently put out debut album Till Marijannah, might be a new name on the home-grown scene, but the quartet include musicians from notable and established bands such as Wormrot and The Caulfield Cult. They perform with other Singaporean metal bands Hrvst, Plague Bearer and Radiant Archery.

BONNIE'S TRIBUTE TO SINGAPORE MUSIC

Singer-actress Bonnie Loo, winner of Chinese singing competition Campus SuperStar in 2013 and known for roles in television series such as xinyao-themed drama Crescendo, pays homage to home-grown music with this show, her second music showcase. Music director Roy Li and a quartet will back Loo in this free outdoor performance, which is part of the Esplanade's Huayi - Chinese Festival of Arts.

CROWD LU 2018 SPRING WORLD TOUR

Crowd Lu, one of Taiwan's most prominent indie pop singer-songwriters, makes his return to Singapore with a show that is part of the Esplanade's Huayi - Chinese Festival of Arts.

The Golden Melody Award-winning artist will be playing songs off his growing discography, which, for now, comprises five albums, including 2016's What A Folk.
