Oscar-nominated comedienne Melissa McCarthy and director Paul Feig (centre) were at the Marina Bay Sands event plaza last night for a red carpet event to celebrate the all-female remake of Ghostbusters. McCarthy plays paranormal expert Abby Yates in the film alongside Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. Feig and McCarthy were surrounded by some of the 263 people who came dressed as ghosts, setting a new Guinness World Record for the Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Ghosts at a Single Venue. The film opens in cinemas on July 14.
