People attending the auction of a guitar belonging to Grateful Dead legend Jerry Garcia. The sale raised US$3.2 million (S$4.4 million) on Wednesday in New York to support a leading civil rights group. Known as Wolf, the custom-made electric guitar was Garcia's constant concert companion until the jam rock icon died in 1995. The original buyer put the guitar back on auction to raise money for the Southern Poverty Law Centre.
