Funk legend Chaka Khan and Malaysian indie star join SingJazz 2015 line-up

American soul/funk veteran Chaka Khan and Malaysian indie singer Yuna have been added to the line-up of the second edition of the Singapore International Jazz Festival, also known as SingJazz 2015. The gigs are set to take place on various stages at Marina Bay Sands from March 5 to 8.

Khan, a 10-time Grammy winner known as the Queen Of Funk, will headline the Gala Night on March 5, which also includes a set by British acid-jazz pioneers Incognito. The line-up on March 6 feature acts such as eclectic 10-time Grammy winner Bobby McFerrin, American trumpet player Chris Botti and a collaboration between home-grown jazz musician Jeremy Monteiro and Italian jazz organist Alberto Marsico.

The other acts include British pop singer Jessie J, local singer-songwriter Charlie Lim, American band Snarky Puppy on March 7 and home-grown soul/jazz outfit The Steve McQueens and Yuna on March 8.
