SINGAPORE - No stranger to Singapore, the American pop rock band OneRepublic have performed a few gigs here since their formation in 2002.

The band comprises lead vocalist Ryan Tedder, guitarists Zach Filkins and Drew Brown, bassist and cellist Brent Kutzle and drummer Eddie Fisher and are best known for the hit Apologize.

Here is a lookback at their latest gig at the Padang Stage on Friday (Sept 15) night for the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix through numbers.

Fifty thousand people - attendees at the show.

An hour before it started, a crowd had already gathered around the stage to secure the best spots to catch the band.

Thirty-nine years - the age Filkins turned on that very night.

Led by Tedder, the audience sang Happy Birthday to celebrate the American musician's special day in Singapore.

During the show, Tedder also appeared to tease him about his youthful appearance, and said more than once that Filkins was 33 years old.

Ten years -that's how long OneRepublic have been together since their debut album Dreaming Out Loud was released in 2007.

During the show, Tedder said: "The goal is at least 10 (years) more."

Four songs - were performed from their latest album, Oh My My, released last October. These songs were Let's Hurt Tonight, Kids, Better and Wherever I Go.

Three songs - which Tedder performed which he wrote for, or with, other musicians. One was Rumour Has It by Adele. While Tedder does not have the English singer's full-bodied, soulful vocals, he let loose his inner diva and showed plenty of attitude with this groovy number.

When he sang Halo by Beyonce, the concert turned into a massive outdoor sing-a-long, with the audience breaking out in applause as he scaled the high notes at the song's end.

Three times - that Tedder paid Singapore a compliment. Halfway through the show, he look at the cityscape and said: "I keep looking over at your beautiful city. Look at this. It's like designed by somebody way, way, way smarter than me."

One drink - that he bought for an audience member. At a show in Vancouver, Canada, on Aug 21, 2017, Tedder said he would buy a drink for fans who showed up for the band's Singapore show.

One fan did.

"Somebody give me a beer for this guy. I'm going to hand it to him myself," Tedder said. "In 10 years, (this) has never happened."
